Bronwyn Barnes B.A, Grad Dip Bus, GAICD
Bronwyn has had an extensive career in the resources sector, having worked with companies ranging from Western Mining Corporation and BHP to emerging juniors in directorship, executive leadership, and operational roles in Australia and internationally. Bronwyn is currently Non-Executive Chair of Indiana Resources, (ASX: IDA), Non-Executive Director of MOD Resources, Managing Director of Scorpion Minerals Pty Ltd and an Independent Director of Perth Racing. Bronwyn is also a member of the Executive Council of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC), the Advisory Council for Curtin University School of Business, Western Australia and a Member of the Board of Management of the Foundation for St Mary’s Anglican Girls School.
Bruce McFadzean Dip Mining, FAusIMM
Bruce has over 40 years’ experience in mining and minerals processing across a range of commodities including gold, copper, diamonds and nickel. Bruce has had extensive exposure to all levels of operations, with his work history including five years with BHP, ten years with Rio Tinto and overseas roles where he has managed the construction and start-up of several new mining operations. Currently, Bruce is the Managing Director of Sheffield Resources and was Managing Director and CEO of Catalpa Resources Limited and led the merger into Evolution Mining Limited.
Chris van Wijk BSc MSc Geology MAusIMM
Chris is a qualified geologist with extensive experience in francophone West Africa and East Africa, having led multi-national exploration teams across a range of commodities in several countries. He has a proven record in base and precious metals exploration, commercial negotiations and business development.
Chris has held senior positions in Exploration and Business Development with Fortescue Metals Group, First Quantum Minerals, IAMGold and BHP.
Stuart McKenzie LLB, BEc. (Hons.), AGIA, ACIS
Commercial Manager & Company Secretary
Stuart has over 25 years of experience in senior commercial roles. He was previously Company Secretary with Anvil Mining Limited for almost six years, prior to which he held senior positions with Ok Tedi Mining Limited, Ernst and Young and HSBC. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.
Heavenlight Kavishe MSc (Mech. Eng.) PhD (Eng.)
Country Manager – Tanzania
Kavishe was born and raised in Tanzania and has lived, studied and worked in various countries including Bulgaria, UK, Japan, Canada and the United States. Prior to joining Indiana Resources in 2013 he held various influential leadership positions within Tanzanian government agencies, including the National Development Corporation (NDC) and the Parastatal Sector Reform Commission (PSRC). In 2006 Kavishe established a private technology business, Kicheko Ltd and is regularly invited as a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship at various Tanzanian universities and centres of higher learning.
He holds degrees in Engineering and Business Administration and post-graduate qualifications in business administration, project management, privatization and utility regulation.
