Bronwyn Barnes B.A, Grad Dip Bus, GAICD
Ms Barnes has had an extensive career in the resources sector, having worked with companies ranging from BHP Billiton to emerging juniors in directorship, executive leadership, and operational roles in Australia and internationally. Ms Barnes is currently Non-Executive Chair of RNI NL (ASX: RNI), Non-Executive Director of JC International Group Ltd (ASX: JCI), a member of the Executive Council of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) and a member of the Advisory Council for the Curtin University School of Business.
Derek Fisher BSc (Hons1) Geology, PhD Geology
Dr Fisher has more than 40 years’ experience in mining companies, spanning both corporate and operational roles, with a particular emphasis on iron ore and nickel projects. He has played key roles in listing and managing resources companies on both the ASX and TSX as well as identifying, evaluating, developing and operating quality mine developments. Dr Fisher was co-founder and a Director of successful African copper miner Anvil Mining from 1995-2000 and co-founder and CEO/Managing Director of Moly Mines Limited from 2003 until 2012.
Bruce McFadzean Dip Mining, FAusIMM
Bruce has over 30 years’ experience in mining and minerals processing across a range of commodities including gold, copper and nickel. Bruce has had extensive exposure to all levels of operations, with his work history including five years with BHP Billiton, ten years with Rio Tinto and overseas roles where he has managed the construction and start-up of several new mining operations. More recently, Bruce was Managing Director and CEO of Mawson West Limited (TSX:MWE) and Catalpa Resources Limited, now Evolution Mining Limited (ASX:EVN).
Campbell Baird B Eng (Mining) Master Int Fin.
Campbell Baird has been part of the Australian and global mining industry for over 25 years. In 2009 Campbell Joined Focus Minerals Pty Ltd, a Western Australian gold producer. During his 4 years of tenure as CEO, Campbell increased annual gold production from 5,000 ounces to 175,000. This was achieved through organic development and strategic acquisitions. Prior to holding this position, Campbell had extensive international experience developing projects in Finland for Vulcan Resources and leading multiple feasibility studies across multiple commodities for SRK Consulting.
Campbell has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from UNSW and a Masters of International Finance from Curtain University, he is a Member of the AusIMM & AICD and he sits on the Executive Council of the Association of Mining and Exploration Council in Australia as Treasurer. Campbell is also Non executive Director of Artemis Resources and Chairman of the School Board of Kyilla Primary School.
Stuart McKenzie LLB, BEc. (Hons.), AGIA, ACIS
Commercial Manager & Company Secretary
Stuart has over 25 years of experience in senior commercial roles. He was previously Company Secretary with Anvil Mining Limited for almost six years, prior to which he held senior positions with Ok Tedi Mining Limited, Ernst and Young and HSBC. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.
Heavenlight Kavishe MSc (Mech. Eng.) PhD (Eng.)
Country Manager – Tanzania
Kavishe was born and raised in Tanzania and has lived, studied and worked in various countries including Bulgaria, UK, Japan, Canada and the United States. Prior to joining Indiana Resources in 2013 he held various influential leadership positions within Tanzanian government agencies, including the National Development Corporation (NDC) and the Parastatal Sector Reform Commission (PSRC). In 2006 Kavishe established a private technology business, Kicheko Ltd and is regularly invited as a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship at various Tanzanian universities and centres of higher learning.
He holds degrees in Engineering and Business Administration and post-graduate qualifications in business administration, project management, privatization and utility regulation.
